No delivery method set up for this country

Hi!

We have installed and configured the CE 4.4.7 version. When ordering, at step 3 we get an error message:

Currently we have no delivery method set up for this country.

There is a shipping method defined with appropriate country, all user groups, an active payment method for that country and appropriate shipping cost rules. Everything seems to be set up, but the system complains about delivery method.

What could be the problem?

I tried the module. It shows this message: “No valid Shipping Cost Rules found”. For the shipping cost rule we have specified a country, all categories, all user groups. The condition is <=0 >=9999999.

I also checked everything in the FAQ link you provided. What else should I try?

Problem solved! Turns out the problem was that we had selected all user groups and/or all categories.

The logic in OXID behind the rules is, as long as no group, no category, no country and no payment method is specified, it´ll be valid for all of them.

So do not specify anything, as long as it is not absolutely necessary to restrain to a certain group, category, country or method…

Except for user assignment in payment methods, which does not follow this logic.
