I was wondering if it is possible to configure the cart for shipping -in a multiple articles´order- the first item with a shippng charge and the rest with different prices. For instance, lowering the shipping cost for the rest of the items shipped.

Yep, this is possible. i do not have an english shop runnig but at: ShopSettings > Shipping Cost Rules
(similar) there you can define them

For example, there you could configure to invoice shipping costs:

[/li][/ul]
There are some other options as well.
