Hi everybody,

from OXID eShop version 4.5.1 on, the implemented Facebook feature can be configured to fully comply the German privacy legal practice. Please read more about it in this blog post:

I am wondering why this special german problem is explained (only) in english?!

Well, look: Actually it is not just a special German problem. France for example and any other country is faced with the same problem: Data of your website visitors will be transferred to the private company Facebook. German legal practice is just one of the most sensitives in this manner.

Good point man. In 4.5.1, uncommonly, in Azure changes had to be made. In Basic, there were no changes at all. I entered #3210 to not forget about it in 4.6.0.

Hi @ all,

I did a small tutorial in german in the german forum about the needed changes in basic.

Thanks a lot for the bug report Marco!

Best regards,

Chris
