Article description xml-snippets

Hi,

I am new to Oxid. I want to create an Oxid E-Shop, so I installed Oxid CE, changed some of the oxid.css - style rules and now I need to update some articles and categories. I was surprised to see that there is HTML-Source-Code in the Kite-Shop-Article-Descriptions. There are some HMTL-Classes used in the descriptions, it seems that the basic-theme expects that you describe all articles in a special manner. Moreover I saw XML-Code as well in the description.

I got these questions:

  1. Where can I read how to customize the basic theme and what is the best practice?
  2. What do I have to make sure (XHTML), if I want to add new articles to my shop?

What in detail you want to customize in Basic-Theme?

You could use the manual/faq section as well as the wiki for some informations.
