Why is OXID not validating?
You are using:
<br> instead of <br />
<input> instead of <input />
etc. etc.
because oxid originally came with the basic template, which has HTML 4.01 doctype.
in this case are <br> and <input> tags valid.
the next oxid release will come with azure theme only, so wait a bit and when there still will be some html4 tags, i gonna sign your complaint, too
