Category listing page product filter

Dear All,

On category listing page, there is an option for filtering the products like AREA OF APPLICATION, INCLUDED IN DELIVERY, COLOR etc…
Can anyone please help me where do we need to configure them from the backend.

these are the defined attributes - you can assign categories to the attributes in admin area

Thank you the info.
I tried to assign the categories for the defined attributes, but unable to display the filtering option in front end…
Is there any other configuration need to be done.

at least one of the items inside this category needs to have assigned the chosen attribute - otherwise it will not be displayed
