I’d think it would be great that users could register themselves in one location and be able to place orders on other sites we operate without the requirement to register again and again. Thank you.
can be realized with Enterprise Edition, you can have several separated shops but one database
or you need to program a single-sign-on which combines all your sites
Was OpenID dropped? I think thsts what you’re looking for.

A Single Sign On module which would allow to register on any site and then to login on every other site connected to a radius like server.
