Difference between SHOP_MAIN_TAXNUMBER and SHOP_MAIN_VATNUMBER

I’m working on translation and came across the two keys and I’m wondering what is the difference between the two:

SHOP_MAIN_TAXNUMBER
SHOP_MAIN_VATNUMBER

no difference actually. Assuming that somebody had a day dream or so :wink:

So obviously, both language keys have similar translations. One of those entries shall definitely be ditched :wink:

Hi Marco,

are you sure about that? In Germany we have a “Steuernummer” /tax-nr and a “Umsatzsteuer-ID” / VAT-Id. Ok, i think that Oxid does not use the “Steuernummer” but maybe thats the reason for the diffents ?
