Empty admin area after install

I’ve just completed a fresh install of Oxid CE, it completed without errors, but when I log into the admin area, it’s mostly empty:

I’ve tried a second fresh install with the same results. The front end of the store with the sample data seems to be ok… Any ideas?

Hi Seth,

this is what happened setting up the shop at a specific German provider. Means - we know that issue :wink:
Try to set the encoding to UTF-8 in the /admin/menu.xml or just delete it completely. What happens?

I have the same problem and if I delete the file /admin/menu.xml nothing happens, unfortunately :frowning:
Any other ideas?

Hi Panceco,

delete the encoding entry or set it to UTF-8.
Deleting the complete file - nothing can happen because the admin menu is held there.

Maybe you have to clear (not delete!) the /tmp/-folder.
