i added description and keywords. saved evrything (of couse its active). reopened website but no metatags at all apeared.

its a plain new install of 4.0.0.1 without example data. on my other website (http://www.xtrem-lecker.de) it works. but this was an update install of oxid

did check first of couse. header is ok. bug exists before i changed the header. as i saw in german forum other have same prob. did you check without example files?

Seems to be a bug. The startpage gets its meta information from the big bargain offer. If it’s deactivated no meta informations are available.
The shop should get meta informations independent from any offer on startpage.
