just started working on slovenian translation for CE version.
As soon I finish it (am currently on line 478 of 1233) I will post the link to file here, so a good soul with more knowledge than me could then please do a proper zip file for other users.
I will also include si.gif or si.png flag. Is there something else I have to watch out for?
I changed the charset to UTF-8 and iLangNr to 2, language name to Slovensko and the folder will be si .
Are there default images for articles without photos like “No picture” or “Kein Bild vorhanden” ?
In a first step, it’s a good decision to have the front end lang.php translated.
For re-writing the URLs, probably a so called “transliteration” is needed if your language uses special characters like Umlauts. A flag is cool stuff as well. Maybe you want to have a look at the Portuguese translation.
In case you find other Slowenians to help you with the translation, it might be a good idea to use http://dev.oxidforge.org
Start a new project here and co-work with your mates on the files.

This should be inserted automatically if you don’t upload a picture.
The most usefull translation is probably in the lang files for both, front end and back end. I wouldn’t even see a need to translate the demo data in the database.
Naaah, for now I am translating the frontend. I will see if I will get to translate the backend. I mean… If you are Eglish sawy enough to install it, you can also use English in the Admin part.

Fair enough. Translating the front end is a valuable work
I saw double line feeds and tried to erase them manually. At the end I realized that it was possible to post the complete lang file like it was
there seems to be an error in diplaying some chracters?
like Č č they are displayed C c in Wiki
… which is rendered in UTF-8 as well… very strange.
Would you do me a favour and replace the lang file from your site (with your MAC)? Access data should be the same as for the forum. Simply switch to Wiki Text and paste the content of your file there between and
