More than one customer have asked if the order of product sorting within individual categories can be influenced, for ex. using a sort-index.
The following method exists http://oxid-blog.euroblaze.de/admin/sorting-products-in-oxid-admin/ but it is anything but usable for large product catalogs if products have to be re-sorted.
Does anyone know where exactly a sort-index can be specified in the database? oxarticles.OXSORT seems appropriate, but what about products arranged into multiple categories?
