How to confirm registration in email

Hello,
I use the community edition OXID eShop CE 4.4.0_28699

I would like to [B]confirm by a link[/B] in his email before a [B]new user[/B] become active.

I found that this work only if the shop is in Private Sales ( Master>Core>settings>Priv. settings = enabled)

In PS mode the problem is that the shop is not visible to non register users and i dont want that.

Is there any way to enable email link confirmation??

Hello Spiros,

probably the best way would be to write a module. Copy the relevant method from the PS mode and insert it into your new module for the register class.

I am not familiar with the modules but I 'll try it.
Also, if someone has done something similar I would be happy if he share it!
