Yes, we definitely plan to do this, because Open Source about accessible source code, right? 
The SVN repository will be readable to the public. You will be able to retrieve the source code through SVN or look into it through a Web-based interface.
We will over time grant write access to selected community members who demonstrated their deep knowledge of the OXID source code and who already made valuable contributions.
Keep an eye on this forum, where we’ll announce once the SVN repository of OXID eShop Community Edition is available.
