Mandatory fields for customer data

Hello,

is it possible to define which fields are available and / or mandatory for a new registered user (“open account”)?

Is it possible to add other fields (e.g. “How did you find us?” …)?

Hi Martin,

both questions: Yes, it is.

In admin panel, go to master settings -> core settings -> settings -> other settings -> “Mandatory fields in User Registration Form

For defining a new field, the process is a bit more complex. Add the field to your database, define it via a module over the view class and add it to your template (register.tpl I guess).
