Quantity formatting (No more rounding?)

Hello community and people of OXID!

First off, I would like to say that I think you have a great looking product here, and I am very interested in working with it more and more.

That said, I am setting up a little test enviroment now, but I did have a question that I could not get myself answered when looking through the admin pages.

Right now, when placing an order on a product, and you enter a non-round number, for example 2,6 or 2.6) it automaticly gets rounded up to 3.

My question is, is it possible for OXID to have quantity settings so that customers can use the dot or comma when placing orders.

In short, is it possible to adjust the quantity field to accept numbers such as 6.7 or 1.4? And not have them round up?

Yes, this is possible!

Go to:
Backend ->Basic Data -> Basic Settings -> Settings -> Orders

and mark the checkbox “allow non-integer amounts for order quantities”

(may be spelled a little different, as my backend is in german language)

admin -> master settings -> core settings -> settings -> order -> Allow fraction Quantities (e.g. 1.5) :wink:
