The useful instructions in the installation tutorial on file permissions works well for me

But is it safe to leave out/pictures, out/media and out/basic/src with 777 after the install ? Isn't this a security risk ?

Hi CPJ,

right, there is a little. But in fact the shop script needs write permissions although it is not the owner of the folder. We probably took over kind of a best practice from other projects. If you have another idea you are welcome... :-)

Hi there,
I just Upgraded from 4.2 to 4.3. "Files/folders access rights" is red!!!
I'v done all what you are telling hire but it stay red! That is, I assigned to all from Oxid list 777 permission. It is still not working.
May you tell me, please, what shell I do?
