Default Inserting a Vide0 (.AVI) into the front page of the CE

I am progressing well thanks to many helpers in the forum.

I am trying to see if I can insert a video clip into the home page of my shop, perhaps just under the sliders or 'banners'. Can this be accomplished? If so how?

there is no way to upload a video in admin panel, so you actually could use any tutorial for inserting video on a website you would find and insert the code in start.tpl
