I don’t get the module to work so far, most probably I have missed some important point. 😕 I have copied all files, edited a few others and added the modules list in system settings - all according to the description provided in install.txt. Then I tested it (after having cleared the tmp folder) registering as a new customer. I tried a very simple fake VAT (country ID and some random numbers: DE 123456) and was taken to the next step of the checkout process. I had no messages in the error log files. I even added some lines of error\_log("") to the functions in eb\_EUVAT\_vatcheck.php and eb\_EUVAT\_email.php. But obviously, none of the functions gets called. Any idea what went wrong? Problem solved: I was not aware that I was testing user.tpl (registration form as part of the checkout process) instead of register.tpl! :o I tested the module with register.tpl now and it’s working fine. Thanks Euroblaze, this is great and provides check results really fast! I will integrate the check in user.tpl as well afterwards. Thanks again! floko ---

Hi euroblaze, i’ve tested your module yesterday. After three little “copy-paste”-actions, all works fine. In Oxid 4.4.1 there are different register.tpl and \_header.tpl and \_header\_plain.tpl. 1. In your module wasn’t a \_header\_plain.tpl. I’ve only copied the script snippet from your \_header.tpl and all was fine for the \_header\_plain.tpl. 2. After that I recognized that your \_register.tpl distinguishes from the original \_register.tpl. I’ve only copied the script snippets from your \_register.tpl again and all was fine for the \_register.tpl. 3. I repeated step 2) for the \_header.tpl. After that the VAT will validated. One little thing: you don’t see the result of validation in the admin panel. Hope that I could help you a bit 🙂 Greetz, Tobi ---
