How to change SQL Database Prefix

Hi, Id like to run 2 insalls of oxid in one database. Test and life shop.

Is there a possibility to change the MySql database prefix for the oxid tables?

Shop is latest version (CE)

THX a lot and have a nice day everybody!

All prefixes are hardcoded in the core-classes.

Really problem is the oxarticle_extended - there are a lot of querys.

OK I see… probably I better move my test install to an other server with separate database.

BUT - isn’t it an security issue if all database table names are known to anybody?

In Joomla it is and it is strongly recomended to change database prefix for security resons.

Don’t think so as one had to have the possibility for SQL injections before.

OK … anyway it would be a nice feature to have database prefix options.
Thx for the answers and enjoy summer!
