Active [checkbox] (result: always on displayed)
or
From: date -to- End: date (result: only available for defined period)
Is there a way to display the “End” date for the product? :o
I’m interested in creating timed sales but want the shopper to easily see WHEN exactly the sale ends. I’d like to place it near the product name but location isn’t important now…
there’s another functionality providing this:
Admin -> customer information -> actions -> promotion. There’s a screen cast on oxidforge.org showing how it works.
Thanks.
I understand “Current Promotion” and link to another page with HTML but the ‘End’ date is only listed with the Banner and not each product.
What I’m looking to do display the ‘End’ date with every product (as well as display that product’s image). The best would be to (one of the following…)
be able to assign individual product to Current Promotions
use a Checkbox option in the Product Page (Main tab) to ‘List As Current Promotion’.
or
add ‘From’ to ‘End’ date options in the Product page (Main tab)
The site’s goal is to sell all products on a limited time basis.
One work-around is each product is entered on a ‘Promotion’ basis…and not as a ‘Product’ but again the date is only displayed with the banner (the HTML can be edited to link to that product’s image instead of the default banner).
Is there a way to display the ‘End’ date for all products?
If you want to sell all products on a limited time basis, maybe a modul would be interesting? I remember there was a modul, I think it was called “liveshopping”. Check the Oxid-exchange for it.

Thanks! The functionality was pre-published as a module and built into the standard in 4.4.0.
Hebsacker,
Thanks. As Marco mentioned, it’s included from 4.4.0 but without the end dates showing for individual ‘product’. The liveshopping module http://www.oxid-esales.com/en/exchange/extensions/live-shopping is 99 euro…I’m poor and my company is cheap :o
Marco,
Thanks again.
“Special tutorial page”? I search oxidforge and the wiki…I’m missing it aren’t I?
