Mail from oxid web.de

Hello. I have shop on oxid cms, when anybody register in my shop send email about his register. This is work, but when user mail host in web.de email from shop do not come.

Can anybody help me?

Hi,

let the user check his spam folder

Regards

of course I check, but spam folder empty.

There might be several reasons why an email has not be forwarded to the addressee. First of all, it is important to check if you entered a valid SMTP address in admin panel --> basic data.
Second: obviously the system sends email. You might also want to check with your hosting provider whether certain emails have been send out by giving him the exact date/time.
Third: some ISPs, email providers use strange proxy and/or filter settings for their incoming emails for spam fighting. That means you can see an outgoing email in the mx logs of your hosting provider but the email never arrives at the addressee’s inbox…

if use email different email hosting all work. Example in @gmail.com all emails come. All config check. Only on web.de emails not come.

Right. That’s why I reckon that web.de has a problem and you can’t do anything against it.

I myself have an account at web.de and no problem receiving mails from oxid-shops.
But my idea is as well to search the “mistake” at web.de, they ave a bunch of “security features”, they even have two spam-folders (“unknown” and “unwanted”).

I check all settings in web.de. but i did not find what can lock email.

@montgomery, I guess you can’t set options in web.de by yourself: Every of this free email providers have it’s own “security features” like strange proxies or whatever. If it works for @Ray it doesn’t automatically mean that it has to work for you. That might even depend on the location where your shop server is hosted.
For example: if web.de decides to not receive emails from the Ukraine and your shop is hosted there, you can’t do anything against it. Get my point? ^^

Yes, I understand. But my server located in Germany. And I use email in web.de my friend in Germany for testing.

That was an example mate… It can also be the case that the hosting provider you use is not accapted by web.de.

Provider for my server is “DomainFactory GmbH”. How can I check my provider for accapted by web.de ?

mine is as well DomainFactory - no problems so far with Oxid on d(f and mail at web.de

Can web.de lock concrete server? And how check this idea?

there should be a Mailer Deamon error-report if web.de blocks

@mantgomery is the MX-Record for your Domain OK? Maybe web.de declines your message because your server didn’t have correct MX-Settings.

@MeisterYoda I don’t now. Server not I config. Emails all time send correct. Has web.de concrete rule for email? maybe headers ?

i think your emailhost is listed in spamhouse or any other spamlist …

or if you send mails not over the mail server on your host directly.

for example your local mailserver (ip: 1.1.1.1) is relaying mails over another mail server from your hoster (lets say ip: 2.2.2.2) … web.de might have a check for that (spam check for relayed mails) and blocking your mail because of that or because the local host is on dynamic ip / listed in spamhouse

its nothing you can do anything.about it.

here you can check your MX records and also if your domain/IP is blacklisted http://mxtoolbox.com/
