New field MYTITLE in oxcategories

Hello

I’d like to add a new field in oxcategories. I couldn’t find a help online in your FAQ or Forum. But I like to know how multilanguage works.

I just see that OXTITLE and OXTITLE_1, _2 and _3 exists.

So I created new fields for MYTITLE_1, _2 and _3.

I added in the admin template but it always saves in MYTITLE although I changed the language instead of MYTITLE_1, MYTITLE_2

Please help, thanks in advance

I dont think so that I updated the view by myself. Can you explain me which view I have to update manually and how to do? Does a view not update automatically?

I think I have to overwrite a php code class which handles the multilanguage function, but I couldn’t find a possibility till now.

in your backend navigate to Service -> Tools and press Update VIEWS there

Hi Hebsacker, Thank you for your answer.

Is there an other possiblity to update the views? Because I can just update a SQL Statement, but I have no “Update VIEWS” Button.

No views in 4.4, sorry can’t help then.
