Paypal field "API password" is missing

Hello

I just updated to last version of Oxid due to “Curl error: 35” when customer do the checkin.
Now I got another issue, on the configuration I cannot set the API password, the field is missing.
I check on the module log file, and the field PWD is also empty, and due to that missing password I get ‘L_ERRORCODE0’ => ‘10002’.

Don’t know is this has something to do SHA-256? and if I have something to do at the hosting side.

Notes that my SSL config are set to “null”, is there something to do at that side?

The paypal module is the last one available 3.2.2

May thanks for any kind of helps.
Regards

Hi,

did you clear the /temp folder? The PayPal settings look quite different in the demoshop: https://demoshop.oxid-esales.com/community-edition/admin.

Cheers,
Jürgen

Hello

Thanks, but it didn’t help.
I’m still having no field to complete before “API password”.

I had exactly the same problem with the most recent version.
Version 3.1.0 is working though…

Since you guys did not mention it, I can only make an educated guess. You tried to use the OXID eFire Extension PayPal 3.2.x in a shop version < 4.9.0 / 5.2.0. The missing field you mentioned has the type password (https://github.com/OXID-eSales/paypal/blob/v3.2.2/source/modules/oe/oepaypal/metadata.php#L193) which is not available in shop versions prior to 4.9.0 / 5.2.0: http://wiki.oxidforge.org/Downloads/4.9.0_5.2.0#Password_field_added_to_modules_metadata
I suggest to use the latest version of the module which is compatible with your shop version, e.g. 3.1.2 for 4.8.x shop: https://github.com/OXID-eSales/paypal/blob/v3.1.2/source/modules/oe/oepaypal/metadata.php#L192

Hello Martin

Thanks for your answer.
Sorry to forget the version of Oxid, I’m using Oxid Community Edition 4.9.5. And it should be compatible with paypal module 3.2.2.

As I did upgrade with cumulative update package, I will try to reinstall from scratch to see if my setting are correct.
