Redirect Loop after Disabling English language

Hi everyone,

i’ve just installed the eShop. Default settings on an 1und1 server. The only thing i modified is the .htacess in order to enable php5. I’m not able to browse my shop. I always get the error from my browser (firefox)

Redirect Loop

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

maybe important information: I set up the shop in German!

Can somebody help me please?

PS: Sorry for the misleading topic - i was wrong not the change of the langugae triggered the error.

Hi Thomas,

most folks to host at 1&1 had to add

RewriteBase /

or the name of the shop folder instead of the / to their .htaccess. Did you do so?

This did the trick for me (also 1&1)!
