Save config variable

save config variable
I have a form in my module and I want to save a new config variable of the textbox of the form at the backend.

I think the best way would be to start some more threads in different forums, attach this question to some totally unrelated other threads and the most important thing is to completely ignore any answers that you might get. One more posting like this and you are banned.

Hello leofonic, first of all I would like to clarify that I never got any answer so I am not ignoring anything, it’s just that my post got ignored and my thread was closed. If it’s about posting I would never post anything on this forum, I was just here to learn new things about oxid development and get my queries solved from the developers who are much more advance than me but somehow I am really disappointed.

How is your question here any different from this one: http://forum.oxid-esales.com/showthread.php?t=27651
You got several answers there and didn’t reply to any of them, so in fact you did ignore them, instead you just keep asking the same question over and over again. Not really asking, because there isn’t even a question in your posting.

So please before starting any new threads, please reply to the answers in your other threads, for example this one: http://forum.oxid-esales.com/showthread.php?t=27816. If you have replied to the answer you can post your question right there, because it is quite the same topic anyway.

Actually first question is the different one but the second one is the same as this but the main problem of this forum is I can never really find my old threads and I never really get the notifications of the threads I post so I never know if I got the reply or not. I would like to apologize for any inconvenience I might have caused.

Subscription and Notification can be set in User CP/Edit Options/Default Thread Subscription Mode (top menu), set this to "instant email notification"
Subscribed Threads can then be found in Quick Links (top menu)
(Unfortunaltely subscriptions are off by default for whatever reason)
