I’m going to run the eshop in Korea…and am hitting a wall on setting up shipping & delivery config. and on Check Out get the message:
"Payment Information
Currently we have no delivery method set up for this country.
We are aiming to find a possible delivery method…about delivery costs.
If you agree to this procedure, please select “move on to next step”
Steps taken (just to test):
(Japan is the only Country Active)
set Payment Method “Cash Upon Delivery”, Assigned Country (Japan), Saved
set Shipping Cost Rules “Free Shipping to Japan”, set to Active and Assigned Japan, Saved
set Shipping Method “Cash Upon Delivery”, set to Active Assigned Shipping Cost Rules (Cash Upon Delivery) and Assigned Countries (Japan), Saved
Cleared the Cache, and only use 1 language.
I’m clearly missing something simple…Could someone help?
I understand from the manual the logic is:
set Countries to which shipping is possible
Create Shipping Methods the shopper can choose from e.g. (Cash Upon Delivery, Standard Post, DHL, etc…)
Assign Countries to each Shipping Method to which the shopper can use to ship to that country. e.g. “only DHL shipping to Japan” or “DHL or Standard Mail to London”, etc…
Create Shipping Cost Rule, and Assign Countries. In this case, JPY1,000 to Japan.
In Step 3, the “Selected Shipping Carrier is:” is a drop-down menu but it only shows 1 option…but all 3 Shipping Methods should be visible. I checked Assigned Countries and Shipping Cost Rules for each Shipping Method and all seem fine.
