I’d label this as constructive criticism. Not to be taken too seriously. Have a nice day.

You made my day!
Don’t know the language. Don’t know the content. BUT …
“and the admin backend is still shit” epic
Für den ersten Post nicht schlecht. :D:D:D
ymmd!
Good one, mate!
However, it gets a bit of a dodgy and malice taste knowing that the company you are working for is dealing with Magento only. Ugh!
I always thought the guy in the video was talking about bicycles.
You mean this one? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SruMABBFItI
Hi and welcome the new user @Patchee to the OXID world
> I’d label this as constructive criticism.
I really do like your kind of humor, and the way you provide it is really funny. But allow me the question: at which point it might be constructive? To be honest - this vid seems to be pure finger pointing (“you have to do this and that”).
You personally haven’t been seen in the community before at all. Neither questioning nor providing solutions, committing pull requests, not even being present at one of the community events. This is the very first post you’re coming up with. Are you really certain?
So I got your full attention now? Very well, here comes a bit more stuff.
I take this “constructive criticism” very personal, just punch in my face. In a matter of fact this video was published at a time when everybody knows I’m on parental leave and most likely can’t check everything going on. Also, how I wrote before, it was published by somebody who was never active in the community. The points made in this video have been designed in a context that is apt to do harm to OXID. I’d clearly call that malice if not slander.
Concerning the content:
*The admin2.0 project was a plain community project that unfortunately died as well as some other projects. And of course I announced it when it started because I was very proud and happy about it. This announcement was never meant to calm somebody down. An impertinence to mock it if you haven’t been part of the development team.
The oxAdminNG project is completely written on the basis of SF2, connecting to the presently existing database but ready for a completely different database structure. This project is in closed alpha and it was (and still is) sht loads of work.
*Yes, there’s a mobile theme out including all preparations for a responsive Design including Bootstrap, LESS and a proper documentation. This mobile theme was contributed under GPL for less. But apparently nobody seems to be interested in working with it or building it up into a responsive design. But there are also alternatives far below 500 bucks:

So get off of your cloud and start being active if you want to finger point. Am as always open for questions.
Not shocking but a partly amuzing, low level interlude - just another way to call for attention on issues.
I would not really worry about that next hour or day anymore, since we are used to Angie, Jogi etc. comedy as well - even everyday (democracy).
By the way I wonder which way Oxid goes w/responive - main theme?
PS: This one came just to my mind - only the lyrics (listen carefully) not the veterans:
