I am embarking on setting up another domain name with OXID Community edition as the web store.
In Australia we have many different ways of doing e-commerce and as such I need a skilled web developer who has the necessary skills to manipulate OXID’s code.
For example we show sales values as $10.95 and not 10.95$
Secondly we have a goods and sales tax (GST) which is 10% (currently) and it is always shown included in the price. It is not added in later. But there are a few types of merchandise where there is 0% GST.
Latest Oxid versions have options to put the currency sign before the price. And you can switch between netto and brutto prices (test means with tax / vat included or not).
Thanks - I quickly tried to do just that but it seems I was unsuccessful in getting the forward/backward switch happening. I used the American currency and expected this to happen automatically as the Americans never present their currency with the dollar sign after the number.
Can you share with this Newbie where the switch is located?
in admin panel go to Master Settings -> Core Settings. On Settings tab choose Other settings. Add “@Front” at the end of the respective currency line. For example: USD@ 1.2994@ .@ @ $@ 2 @Front. That’s all.
