Where to put the code on vps

I have uploaded the software onto my server and tried various ways of getting to the set up program (I believe is oxsetup.php) but my browser cannot find the program no matter what I put in. Are there any variables/config details I need to edit or set up before attempting to run it. I have set all permissions I think.

Very new to all this and am a long time out of unix environement…

Hi bramley,

actually, if the config.inc.php is not adapted yet, the shop shall automatically redirect to the /setup/ folder of your system. If not, try to call it directly:
http://youroxideshop.co.uk/setup/

What happens, which error message comes up both ways?
