Admin->Products has 2 "Prices" ?

In Admin Products->Products->Main tab there “Price” and then in Extended tab there is “Purchase Price” + RRP.

The RRP displays however what is the purpose of having ‘Purchase Price’ when the Main tab’s ‘Price’ is displayed?

Is the ‘Purchase Price’ meant to be what the shop bought the item for?
I can’t seem to find it displayed in the interface.

Hi,

not every information entered into the database needs to appear in the GUI (e.g. product item dimensions). Some people need it for e.g. extended modules or internal calculations.

RRP will appear crossed out at the store front if entered.

Hi

I just need to clarify to myself some basics.
I have never used Purchase Price under Products/Extended so far (always left it to 0 eur) but now I wonder what is OXID using it for and what it represents?
Is the ‘Purchase Price’ the price that E-shop owner pays to the distributor for the product?
