Prices should contain a thousands separator for better legibility.
Zero cents (",00") should be replaced with “,–” or “,—” to read “,-”, in order to follow local standards
Price formatting should also be independent of templates. Currently, changing the currency sign location requires changes to many tpl files. This sort of formatting should all be handled in the code, similar to how the North Amercan Shop extension works.
