Colors (Look&Feel)

Hi there,

is there a list or an overview what the entries in the Look&Feel menu mean?

I am desperately looking for the value of “Top of the shop” - and cannot find it. Also in the bargain area “order now”.

Can anyone help and tell me where I can change the colors?

Hi Angela,

do yourself a favour and don’t touch the Look’n’Feel menu :slight_smile:

Instead, you might want to install the Firefox extension “Firebug”, inspect the exact place of the CSS assignment and change the value you want to change directly in the oxid.css file. Don’t forget to make a copy of the file before.

Hi Marco,

thanks for the hint. It gave me a hard time at first, because I still work with FF2.x

After using a VM which I can delete afterwards I first had to install FF3 - and finally found out, that I also can work with FF2 and Web-Developer :wink:

I now changed the oxid.css - and curious as I am I tried to find out, what changed in the Look&Feel window … nothing. That means, that not all adjustments are reachable from the surface.

There are some strange things happening - I suspect that they are related to an update.
The Cart is white - the background is white. I don’t dare to change the button-files. So I will discard all changes and start with one of the 3 templates and rebuild my surface.

Even if it is work - I am a step further now - so, thanks again!
