Error page redirect

Hi,

Can any body help me with the error page redirection. I mean for some wrong url the system shows the error page. I want to know where and how does the system check for a valid URL/Page…for example I have this URL working fine…

http://mydomain.com/outdoor-hardshell-jacke-herren-regendicht/

but when I put something at the end…like this…

http://voycontigo_live/outdoor-hardshell-jacke-herren-regendicht/something/

it takes me to the error page…saying that the URL doesn’t exists.

imho this is checked / stored in table oxseo in the database

by the way, those seo-urls can be individually editet in the shop-backend
