Hello everyone,

i am proud to announce the first release of “tc-fckeditor-oxid”, the implementation of popular FCKeditor for OXID Community Edition 4.1.

For OXID CE the module is downloadable free of charge, here (“Downloads”). English installation instructions can be found here

Features are:

[li][B]Smarty support[/B][/li][li]Spellchecking[/li][li]WYSIWYG - What you see is what you get[/li][li]Easy built-in image upload and file browser[/li][li]extendable through plugins[/li][/ul]
For Professional and Enterprise Edition, the module will be available shortly at OXID Exchange for 49 €. For Community Edition, support is only provided if you purchase the version from OXID Exchange.

FCK Editor worked great in v4.1.16, but not in 4.2.0. Will there be an update? Thank you!

There is a new and much enhanced version of FCKeditor available: [B]CKeditor[/B]…

Looks great and has additional functionality.

Any chance, that you integrate that in your modules instead of FCKeditor (which has become a bit aged, and has some problems…)???
