Installation problem

If I install the oxid 4 community version in server root , its working properly…but when I install it in a folder in server root, most of the links are not working… throwing 404 error. Why it is so? Its a bug or I am doing any mistake?

Hi,

please add the following line to your .htaccess file in your shop directory:

RewriteBase /your_shopfolder/
