"No shipping methods found. Please contact us by phone or email." Problem

Hi I keep having this message on the my shop everytime. I have already setup payment type set it to active, assign countries and shipping cost. But still it keeps showing this message. Can you please point me to the right direction?

It is important to understand the basic functionality:

  1. setup the payment methods
  2. setup the shipping methods
  3. Merge the payment methods and the shipping methods to so called “shipping cost rules”

As Marco mentioned above, see manual for some tips. But what usually caught me was the country assignment. You have to assign at least one country to both the shipping method and the cost rule.

Shipping methods:
Standard 10 - 14 Days: No valid Payment method found
Example Set1: UPS Express 24 hours: No valid Payment method found
Shipping methods:
Standard 10 - 14 Days: No valid Payment method found

When any user get registered at my site, he/she has this message “No shipping methods found. Please contact us by phone or email.” at step 3.

Even if I assign all user group to Shipping Method. And Payment Method and also assign in Shipping Cost Rules.

did you assign the countries as well?

did you check with Franks module?

Yes I tried it it says

Shipping methods:
Transport själv arrangerar: No valid Shipping Cost Rules found
Standard: No valid Shipping Cost Rules found

What to do? Getting confused.

At Shipping method that newly registered user is not assign. If I assign that user then it seems nice.

But my question is :

Do I have to assign user(newly registered) manually every time to shipping method at admin (in Shipping Methods->Users->Assign Users) for displaying shipping method at step3?

There are hints in the readme of the module what to do in each case, in your case:

  1. No valid Shipping Cost Rules found:
    for all Shipping Cost Rules assigned to the Shipping method:
    • Check Countries and Users assigned to the Shipping Cost Rule
    • If you’re not certain do not assign any Countries and Users/Groups
    • Check if the condition is valid (not 0-0)
    • activate Shipping Cost Rule

Did you check everything mentioned here? Removed the countries/groups assignments?

I remove the assignment of user and countries for shipping rule of mine.

But situation persist.

Then check the other stuff:

  • is the rule really assigned to the method
  • is the condition valid (not 0-0)
  • is it active

Checked all.

  • Assigned to method
  • Condition is Weight 0 >= and<= 9999999999
  • Active

but same situation.

What I have done wrong?

Looked at it, you had users and groups assigned in the method. I removed the assignments and now it works.
