OXID 4.3 How to Downgrade the Standalone eFire PayPal Module?

Hello,
we do have Oxid 4.3 running, but the actual paypal standalone module (eFire PayPal Standalone Module) is not meant for Oxid 4.3 (PE), how can i downgrade the module, is there any way / code out there? Thanks a lot.

Hi dk,

honestly, the better question would be on how to update the shop. I’d invest my time better in this as in trying to downgrade a PayPal module. The very fact of possible security issues would bring me to that idea.

sure - updating the shop would be the way best solution

In some cases this is not an option, I know - then you could use the PayPal-module from Aggrosoft or the one from egate media. Both work with older (or even antique) versions and have no problem with the dropped SSL 3.0 support.
