OXID eFire for Paypal

Hi,

I have developed my shop and installed paypal module which is available in OXID exchange, now it requires OXID eFire.

So, i would like to know that what is OXID eFire and from where i can get that exactly…?
Is there any instruction about this available anywhere.
Also, will it be possible to use that in Local…? I require this because without testing of paypal i can’t make my site live…

Please reply here.
Thanks.

Hello hardikbadani,

OXID eFire is a platform that is only available in Germany (and maybe other German speaking countries). So in your case, I’d like to clearly point you to this module:

Hello Hardik,

You can use the open-source (not free) Paypal Module:

Ps: This module newely supports IPN calls sent back to the shopping-cart.

Hey Marco,

Sorry for late reply, but i was away from this in past weeks.
Thanks for this information, it will help me.

But here i would like to ask you that if my customer is from Germany then also i need to use 6vC-PayPal-Basic ?

its simple, the contract partner who uses eFire needs to be in Germany

but you can of course use any other PayPal module, no one forces you to use eFire only

Hey, Thanks for info.

I have used 6vC-PayPal-Basic and it works fine.
But it redirects to Paypal from 3rd step and redirect back to fourth step once we done PAY NOW.
That’s seems bit strange as it should redirect from 4th step and return to thank you page.

Apart from this we have also tried for Soforteuberweisung module from below link,
http://exchange.oxid-esales.com/Order-fulfillment-Logistics/Payment/Sofortueberweisung-de-0-Stable-CE-4-0-x-4-7-x.html
And it also require eFire account so for this is there any other module like 6VC-Paypal.

Thank You for your help.

yes, this is a bit confusing as you just allow the payment at PayPal - the transfer is triggered after finishing the order inside the shop after you come back

I do not know an open source module for Sofortüberweisung, but you may try this one (requires IonCube):
