Hey folks,
yesterday, new OXID eShop versions were published: 4.8.11, 5.1.11, 4.10.0 beta and 5.3.0 beta. Other releases, 4.9.8 and 5.2.8 had to be postponed until next week.
Aiming to loose the knot in your brains about the different versions I felt free to put down some lines about the details, what is new in which version and on how to interpret these releases:
http://planet.oxidforge.org/2016/04/oxid-eshop-v4-8-11-v4-10-beta-published-v4-9-8-postponed.html
Please let me know if there are questions or hard to understand things left anyway.
[Update]
OXID eShop versions 4.9.8 and 5.2.8 are published now as well. No template changes, just bug fixes:

Hi Marco,
will there be a public (and separate) demoshop for the new 4.10 beta ?
(Or do i have to install it by myself if i want to have a look to the cool new theme?)

Have a look at the blog post mate. The CE 4.9.1 beta is linked
Hi @Firefax,

Yes, there will. It is not set up yet.
Cheers
@firefax,
What I can read about Version 4.10 is "No template changes in this release."
See http://wiki.oxidforge.org/Downloads/4.10.0_5.3.0
From my understanding the next Major release should be 6.0 CE, PE, EE and then I expect a new Design with new Features by the end of 2016 - or sooner, or later?
Marco, can you tell us more about the Roadmap?
@Earlybird, have a look at the new Features: “Flow theme(beta version) - new responsive theme packaged to the OXID eShop bundle”
So, there might be no changes in the azure theme, but a new one is coming.
cya
Exactly. Will let you know what we’re presently working on as soon as possible.
@firefax,
Thanks and yes it’s true: 4.10 beta comes already with two Themes:
- AZURE - the non responsive Version that we know already.
- FLOW - the new responsive Version based on Azure style, expected to get redesigned in Oxid 6.0.
Admin also got some style changes in current 4.10 beta.
PS: For those who want to glance a look at FLOW Theme 1.0.0 beta frontend I have put it temporarily public here http://87.230.23.65/shop4100/

To be honest i expected something more spectacular. But as a parent-theme its OK.
