Hi ,
I like to re-order the checkout steps and like to swap around Step 2 and 3 so Step 3 is before Step 2.
So basically, first choose your payment and then fill out the address.
Has anybody done this?
Any help would be great.

Well,
do not reorder that process:
you may define payment option per country…
…so you first need the county!
you also may define a different delivery-option for some countries, e.g overnight-express only in your own country.
Configuring your payment and delivery options can be very ambitious! (but you can do with the oxid-shop)

Actually both, the shipping costs will be calculated and the payment methods will be defined by country/region of your client. That’s why he usually has to declare it beforehand. Why to do it vice versa? And think about the possibility of checking client’s solvency later on maybe…
BTW: Of course it is possible to do it your way. But you probably have to write a module.
