Which is strange, as usually with Smarty template files from different directories have different filenames…
The template override system also should make sure, taht files for different directories have different filenames.
This would e.g. allow to dynamically use different override templates, maybe to have different shop looks depending on the time of day, or use differnt designs for different categories, and, and, and…
