Variant product inherited parent product price

Hi,

In my shop i need to create dynamic variants for a product in which price is set to zero.
Now when i add this dynamic variant into cart at that time it takes price of parent product.

Can i stop this inherited price option for variant product…? If yes then please let me know how…?

adding an item in discounts shall do the job, right?

I guess in discount we can only add main product and i need 0 price only for single variant not all variant.
There may be option for assign discount on individual variant but then shop admin will get confused when he/she manually try to apply discount for a product.

So, it is better if there will be any option using which we can disable this inherited option.

So, there is no any possibilities of like last comment,
I only dont want to inherited parent product values in variant products.

Let me know if i can do this by any module or any else way
